The scores do not change here. Only the weights do. If disconnected applications are a small part of your estate, lower that slider and watch the governance platforms move up. If certification campaigns are your main audit deliverable, raise that one. Every figure is computed in your browser from the same data file as the rest of the site.

Your score = sum of (criterion score × your weight) ÷ sum of your weights. Criterion scores are 0 to 100 and are the same as on the comparison page. Monthly cost = published price per user per month × users. Annual cost = monthly cost × 12. Value = your score ÷ (annual cost ÷ 1,000). FAQ
How do I use the identity lifecycle tool calculator?
Set each slider to how much that criterion matters to your program, from 0 (ignore it) to 10. The table re-ranks the nine tools as you move them. Only the ratio between sliders matters, so 2 and 4 give the same result as 5 and 10.
Why does only one tool show a cost?
Microsoft Entra ID Governance is the only tool with a per-user price for its governance product on its own site ($7.00 per user per month, paid yearly, with Entra ID P1 or P2 required), so it is the only cost we compute. Apono and Orchid Security list prices on AWS Marketplace rather than on their own sites; we show that list price as text because Orchid prices per package and Apono as a 100-user monthly commit. Okta's pricing table marks Identity Governance (OIG) as included from Essentials ($17 per user per month) upward, with its footnote describing OIG as an add-on. The other vendors quote per deal, so we show "Not published" rather than an estimate.
Do the criterion scores change when I move the sliders?
No. The per-criterion scores and their written reasons stay fixed; they are listed on the comparison page and each tool's profile. The sliders only change how much each criterion counts toward the total.
What do the default weights mean?
They are our published weights: 22, 18, 15, 12, 13, 12 and 8 out of 100, shown here as 2.2 to 0.8. They put disconnected-app coverage and orphan account discovery first because that is the problem this reference covers. The editorial method explains each one.
